Democracy needs you: Apply for the Re:boot Camp 2026 by 7 June
A fully funded, one‑week programme for young democracy builders in Europe, on the island of Cres, Croatia.

7 May – 7 June 2026

Democracy Re:boot Camp is a fully funded, one‑week, in‑person programme that brings together 30 young democracy builders from across Europe for an intensive learning and exchange experience. Taking place on the island of Cres, Croatia, the second edition offers a deliberately immersive residential format, creating space to step away from daily routines and focus on meaningful work, collaboration, and connection.

Designed for activists, journalists, civil society practitioners, and emerging political actors aged 18–28 who are already engaged in democracy work, the programme equips participants with practical skills, strategic insight, and a strong peer network to strengthen democratic resilience in a rapidly changing landscape.

The week-long programme combines workshops, case studies, and hands-on sessions addressing democratic backsliding, movement building, communication, and the digital information environment. All participation costs, including accommodation, meals, and travel support, are covered.

Applications are open until 7 June, followed by video interviews in July and final selection by the end of the month. Candidates must be based in Europe, available during the programme dates, and able to participate in English. Above all, they should be motivated to actively contribute to shaping a more resilient and participatory democratic future.
