»WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TODAY?« is an installation by the Ukrainian artist duo Etchingroom1 (Kristina Yarosh and Anna Khodkova), which they developed during their MQ Residency in collaboration with tranzit.org/ERSTE Foundation for the public space of the MuseumsQuartier Vienna. It consists of individual stelae that form a wall-like display, showing crayon drawings in the style of hidden object puzzles displayed on both sides. The entire series of images refers to the experiences of conflict faced by the two artists from Kyiv, whilst also revealing their individual strategies for dealing with them. The work invites viewers, in times of multiple crises, to perceive hope through the fragile balance of everyday life.
