They reply to our e-mails, finish our homework, support scientific research, and even write poems and plays if asked. The most recent chat bots, text-based dialogue systems like ChatGPT, already do certain things better and faster than human beings. Will one of humanity’s deepest fears now become reality as such programs threaten to make us redundant? Will they become even smarter than the smartest among us? These are the questions which Debating Europe will tackle this time around, featuring the following experts and artists.
