Arts and culture are crucial for coping with a rapidly changing world. They help to renegotiate social values, can transform fear into understanding and foster a shared sense of purpose in the face of political, economic, technological and environmental challenges. In the Arts and Culture department, we work for a vibrant and resilient cultural landscape that contributes to opening new perspectives, exploring experimental futures and providing a platform for critical debate and solidarity.

After completing my studies and doctorate in art history, I devoted my professional career to strengthening cultural infrastructures and democratising access to art and culture – including for Phaidon Press London, the Getty Research Institute (2016-2019), the VALIE EXPORT Centre Linz (2020-2023) and the Centre for Image Sciences at the University for Continuing Education Krems (2023-2025).

Since September 2025, I have been working on inspiring projects for the ERSTE Foundation in the fields of art, culture and society.
