The Fellowships for Curators and Artists at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg are now open for application. This project is part of ERSTE Foundation’s educational programme and its long-term endeavour to support and strengthen contemporary art especially in the region of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Apply until 15 March.

The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) opened a call for application for the 2026 Fellowship for Journalistic Excllence. Applications are invited under the theme of Environment. The dealine is 10 March.

What, How & for Whom / WHW launches its annual open call for the eighth edition of WHW Akademija. Open to artists worldwide with a focus on the Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe, the programme runs from April to October 2026 through online sessions and in‑person gatherings in Zagreb and Bihać. Applications are open until 2 March 2026.
