The Balkan Case Challenge

Agron Krasniqi from Kosovo has recently been awarded a scholarship for the Master in South-Eastern European Law and European Integration at the University of Graz. The University discovered Agron in the Balkan Case Challenge (BCC) database during the "Career Day South-Eastern Europe” in Vienna. This unique job fair gives opportunity for national and international companies and organisations with a focus on South Eastern Europe to meet with the participants of the BCC.
The fair is only one of the activities through which the Balkan Case Challenge engages with excellent students, universities, companies, institutions, and individuals who work towards the same values — higher employability and a better future for all participating countries of the programme. The annual international case study competition, another BCC activity, promotes a modern practice-oriented method of learning. The students use the acquired theoretical knowledge and work on the real life or fictitious cases in four disciplines: Business Case Competition, Law Moot Court, ICT case Competition, and Model European Council. The purpose of the process is to bridge the gap between the theory and practice. The case study methodology also supports sustainability of the programme beyond the competition at the selected universities in SEE.
The Balkan Case Challenge is a part of the ERSTE Foundation Europe Programme, which enhances mutual understanding and the consolidation of European values within Central and South Eastern Europe. Different projects aim to strengthen the region and develop joint perspectives with the particular emphasis on the younger generation.
