Besides the prize money totaling 610,000 Euro, the 33 winners (30 winning projects, 2 Special Prizes of the Jury, 1 Practitioners’ Award) will also receive media relations support from professional PR consultants for a two-year period. Additionally, all finalists (approximately 130 organisations from all participant countries) will be invited to take part in the ERSTE Foundation NGO Academy, a learning platform meant to increase organisations’ capacities in different areas: PR & media relations, fundraising, social business, organizational identity.

“This is the fourth edition of our Award for Social Integration and we are happy that the project developed so much in the 5 years of its existence – from a simple award concept addressing NGOs from 4 countries in 2007, to a complex programme for social integration taking place in 13 countries in the 2012/ 2013 edition. We believe it is crucial for the NGO sector to become more and more visible in order to attract funding, but also in order to inspire all individuals to take action for the social good. This is why our support does not end with the Awards Ceremony in June, but we continue working with all finalist NGOs”, said Dejan Petrovic, Project Manager of the ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration.

The finalist projects will be evaluated by an international jury. The winners of the ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration 2013 will be announced at the Awards Ceremony taking place in Vienna in June 2013.
