Eastern and Central Europe
The projects in Central and Eastern Europe were carried out with long-term partners of Caritas Austria.
The projects are targeted at children and young people from disadvantaged families and social backgrounds as well as young adults who would be able to greatly enhance their future prospects through educational programmes.
The project activities contribute to improving the children’s life situations and to supporting their social and emotional development. Often, certain incentives (e.g. lunch at school, common leisure activities) are necessary to enable education to take place at all.
