“Wizards of O.Z.” (O.Z. is abbreviation of “Okružni Zatvor” / County Prison) is ongoing project for drug addicts / prisoners hospitalized in Special Prison Hospital Belgrade. Project uses latest European prison practice (drama workshops based on applied theater and forum theater methodology) to foster rehabilitation of waste number of drug addicts in only prison hospital in Serbia. During our workshops, prisoners are invited to learn different behavior models and explore various possible answers on everyday challenges.
In/visible City

The project IN/VISIBLE CITY is a campaign for tolerance and respect of human rights and minority rights in Serbia and broader. It consists of a set of activities that uses theatre and culture with an aim to help in promotion and improvement of human and minority rights by making the different minority groups more visible. The action also aims to help increasing the inter-ethnical dialogue and tolerance by creating situations for inter-cultural exchange.
Independent and Integrated Lives for People with Developmental Disabilities

KEC MNRO works with non-institutionalized and deinstitutionalized developmentally disabled (DD) young people to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for an independent and integrated life. In the organization’s day center the beneficiaries participate in specially designed educational and social programs meant to prepare them for an independent life, prevent institutionalization and promote inclusion into society.

Project who has for six years been connecting art and social activities, might have been a central figure of the cultural scene today in Slovenia, since socially committed art is in focus. Project work would legitimize such contemporary creations and would promote younger generations. However it is not so. Project is not in the centre of interest of the contemporary political art in Slovenia.
Development of Tourist Destinations for People with Disabilities

With the project E.T. we encourage tourism sector to make their offer more accessible for persons with special needs. Trade mark (TM) “Disability Friendly”, which is stimulating tourist offerers to adapt their activities to special needs of disabled, has already been created. A strategy for a tourist information office is prepared. The office will be established in January 2009 and will provide all information about accessible tourist services. In this way the disabled will easily decide which destination or service to choose regarding their disability.
Communication Campaign in Support of Solution of the Erased Problem

18,305 individuals, representing nearly 1% of Slovenian permanent residents, unlawfully lost their permanent residency status in 1992. As a result, they were deprived of basic rights.
this project stimulates the public to take an active part in problem solving. It sets a model of cooperation between non-governmental, business, political and cultural sectors.
“Projekt Človek”

“Project Man”/Projekt Človek is common name for 17 sub-programmes on 11 different locations (cities) in Slovenia, for different addicted persons (drug users, alcoolists, patological gamblers,…) and for their family members. Programme offers: support to stop addictive behavior, professional psycho-therapies, individual, group and family therapy, work, sport and free-time activities.

Reconstruction Women’s Fund, the only local women’s foundation, in partnership with Urgent Action Fund from U.S. makes small urgent grants intended to enable a short-term intervention in the course of long-term strategy for an advancement of women’s human rights, rights of marginalized and extremely vulnerable groups and protection of women’s human rights defenders coming from marginalized groups in Serbia.

In 1998, a group of volunteers from NGO Women’s Studies and Research initiated a long-term project about biographies of elder women from ethnic groups from Vojvodina. The objective of this intercultural dialogue between different groups and individuals is to demonstrate the importance of women’s individual stories for strengthening inter-generational ties between younger and older women.
Resocialisation of psychiatric Patiens through dramatic Expression

Project is meant for psychiatric patients of SHMD ŒDr Laza Lazarevic. The primary goal is to restrict sequences of disease, to reestablish capabilities which have been lost due to illness or to keep those ones which are endangered, to develop persons self esteem and self acceptance with illness, and all that by learning basic life skills that they are lacking (communication skills, constructive conflict solving, stress control, social anxiety reduction). The secondary goal is better integration into more educated society (more opened and with more tolerance, with less prejudices).
