Born in Podgorica, Montenegro, Filip then grew up in places with strong local dialects: Munich, San Antonio and Vienna! Hardly surprising he chose to focus on semiotics in his doctoral thesis. His knowledge in media psychology is of great value in building up ERSTE Foundation Community, an initiative that gathers some 100 people from the fields of art, research and NGOs, to exchange ideas, create synergies and contribute with innovative impulses to the work of the Foundation in the framework of the European Forum Alpbach every year.

Born in Bucharest, Alexandra grew up in Germany. She returned to Romania during her studies to work as a volunteer in an orphanage and to get to know her roots. The combination of Communication and French Studies led her to work as freelance correspondent for Radio France Internationale in Berlin and later to a publishing house in Zurich. After working as spokesperson for UNICEF in Switzerland and Germany, Alexandra followed her heart and now lives in Vienna. Since spring 2013 she helps to make sure that ERSTE Foundation becomes even more a talking point in Austria.

Born in Fargo (USA), a place made famous by a Coen brothers' film, Heide spent most of her life in Austria. After finishing university programmes in journalism and theatre, film and media studies in Vienna and San Francisco, cornerstones in Heide's career were heading the press department at Tanzquartier Wien and working as production manager at Wiener Festwochen. After that, she worked with the sponsoring department of Erste Bank 'Kontakt. The Arts and Civil Society Programme of Erste Group'. All these vocational challenges have equipped her well for her latest challenge: the Culture Programme of ERSTE Foundation, where she started in 2009.

Belgrade, Berlin, Belgrade, Vienna, Venice, Vienna, Belgrade, Vienna. Jovana has certainly moved around a lot! This has, however, only added to her experience and had significant impact on her professional development - skills, which the communications expert has honed even more when joining ERSTE Foundation in 2008. Before joining the team, Jovana worked at the OSCE Mission to Serbia on the country’s democratic reforms. She has a demanding job, handling, among other things, PR activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia, but always keeps her cool. How cool!
