Ten artists from Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and the Slovak Republic will stay in MuseumsQuartier in 2017. Their time in Vienna will give them the opportunity to conduct research and work on specific projects for one or two months.

The artist-in-residence programme of the Q21/MuseumsQuartier provides young artists from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and the Slovak Republic with a guest studio at MuseumsQuartier. Every year, up to ten artists are given the opportunity to spend one or two months in Vienna to live and work in one of the artist-in-residence studios. tranzit together with ERSTE Foundation is responsible for selecting these artists. Furthermore, tranzit.at is based at Q21/MuseumsQuartier.
