Vienna Humanities Festival: Revolution!

Around 40 conversations and discussions will transform the Karlsplatz into an urban salon. This year’s theme is “Revolution!”. Topics range from Russia 1917 to the events of 1968 to the pivotal year of 1989 and from the Arab Spring to the upheavals in Ukraine. The Festival will also address the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century, the aesthetic revolution of Modernism, and today’s digital revolution with its far-reaching social transformations.
