The ESFALP Academy kicks off for the 4th time
European Schools for a Living Planet

From Saturday to Wednesday, the student-teacher teams will engage in lots of workshops and outdoor activities in the area surrounding Illmitz, Burgenland. Eco-pedagogues and environmental experts will train them on the topics “The Danube”, “Ecological Footprint” and “Active Citizenship”. After the end of the Academy, the teachers and students will apply their newly acquired ecological and project management know how by developing “Save-the-environment” projects together with their classmates, which they will implement until the end of the school year. As a new element of the Academy, the WWF youth team “Youth Taking Action for the Earth” will spend a day with the teams.
This year, schools from Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Modova, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine participate in the Academy.
