Collectiv A Association presents the 5th edition of the European festival of theatre, dance and video image TEMPS D’IMAGES. This year the festival is designed to provoke the public to do an exercise in order to imagine the future in a moment when the present occupies all our time.
The festival includes performances, theatre shows, contemporary dance shows, a video exhibition, debates and book releases, concerts and a a movie. The projects chosen address important issues of our society, such as the addiction to the virtual medium, economic and political changes, and human rights issues.
Artists from France, Germany, Ireland, The Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary and Romania will present their work at The Paintbrush Factory, Hungarian Theatre of Cluj, Radio Hall, Tranzit House, TIFF House, Theatre and Television Faculty and Gambrinus Pub. To mention some important international shows: Blue Boy, concept by Feidlim Cannon and Gary Keegan (Irl), The Priestess, presented by Krétakör Theatre Company (Hu), Solo For Lu by Archa Theater (CZ), Kaiju, by the Shonen Company (Fr), Alexis. SOLO FOR LU
In the framework of TEMPS D’IMAGES, the theatre performance “Solo for Lu” will take place on 9 November. The performance about the real life story of Chinese actress, singer and dancer Jing Lu, accompanies her on a journey from her childhood in China to her current life in Prague was originally developed as a part of the project Where is My Home. This intimate story is confronted with global questions of today’s world and the ambivalent relationship of western society to China.
