Social Impact Award 2014
Under the slogan Push the button, change the world!, the Social Impact Award is an idea competition for students who are challenged to try to solve current social problems in an innovative way, using entrepreneurial skills. The submitted projects can address different issues, like poverty reduction, health, education, environment, energy, human rights, equal opportunities and others.
Since its founding in 2009, the Social Impact Award has been organically growing in order to reach more and more students, and the 2014 edition is taking place in 8 countries: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic and Switzerland. More than 130 workshops are planned to take place in these countries, on topics such as social entrepreneurship, idea generation, business modelling and planning, financial planning.
Students from the 8 participant countries are invited to submit their ideas until 15 April 2014. Participants can win one of the Social Impact Award Stipends of up to 4,000 Euro, “Unlimited Summer Memberships” at the Impact HUBs from their countries, professional support and other prizes.
