Salzburg Summer Academy 2017: Winners of the Fellowship for Curators & Artists
ERSTE Foundation offers five fellowships for young artists and five fellowships for emerging curators from Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovak Republic to take part in a course of their choice at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg 2017 (17 July – 26 August 2017).
The fellowships are designed for artists and curators at the beginning of their career and cover room and board, travel expenses and the participation fee for the course. Furthermore, the participants will be given the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and their experience, to reflect their own work, develop new ideas and get contacts on an international level.
A call was held in the respective countries beginning of this year and a jury – formed by ERSTE Foundation together with its long term project partners tranzit.cz, tranzit.hu, tranzit.ro and tranzit.sk – selected the following fellows:
Jana Baierová CZ – course of Diana Campbell Betancourt
Iva Durkáčová SK – course of Melissa Dullius + Gustavo Jahn
