Rupert Dollinger new member of ERSTE Foundation's Managing Board
Rupert Dollinger will replace Dietrich Karner.
This was announced yesterday by Karl Korinek, president of the Association DIE ERSTE österreichische Spar-Casse Privatstiftung and president of ERSTE Foundation’s Supervisory Board, at the annual general meeting of the Association. Dietrich Karner, who served as deputy chairman of ERSTE Foundation’s Managing Board, will withdraw from his function on the grounds that he has reached the age limit of 72 that is stipulated in the statutes of ERSTE Foundation.
Rupert Dollinger served as Erste Group Bank’s head of Human Resources for 18 years, helping to make the banking group the leading financial services provider in Central and Southeastern Europe. He retired from this position in June 2010. Rupert Dollinger is well familiar with ERSTE Foundation’s goals and activities and supports its strive to change people’s lives to the better.
