Open Call: European Schools for a Living Planet

Are you a teacher of 13 – 16 year old students? Then you can join the intercultural network of European Schools For A Living Planet (ESFALP)! Here teachers and young people from 11 European countries are taking action in their communities for a more fair and sustainable world. Participants come from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine. If you are accepted to participate, you and one student will be trained to create and manage your own nature and environmental project together with students from your school!

ESFALP focus on three topics:
• Ecological Footprint – Lifestyle and global effects
• The Danube – Europe´s lifeline
• Active citizenship – get active and motivate others

You will be invited to participate in the Academy from 27 September to 2 October, 2013 in Austria and receive 230,– Euro to support the implementation of your project. You will also be invited to attend the final event in Romania, in June 2014.
