KomenskýFond Impact Analysis

ERSTE Foundation, Caritas and the NPO & SE Competence Centre at WU will present the “KomenskýFond Impact Analysis for selected CEE projects 2008 – 2015” study on 14 September 2017 at 4 p.m.

KomenskýFond is a collaborative project of ERSTE Foundation and Caritas. Since 2006 its aim has been to foster the future prospects of disadvantaged children and young people with extracurricular educational programmes. Participants include partner organisations from seven Central and Eastern European countries. Commissioned by ERSTE Foundation and Caritas, the Competence Centre for Nonprofit Organizations and Social Entrepreneurship at Vienna University of Economics and Business has conducted an impact analysis and compiled recommendations for four subprojects from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Serbia.

To what extent has KomenskýFond actually influenced the lives and future prospects of children and young people? What impact does this long-standing collaborative project have on the children’s parents? Did it impact the participating organisations and the communities where the projects were implemented? How effective and efficient are the KomenskýFond programmes? Which recommendations need to be considered in future educational support projects?
