Július Koller Archive: Study Room – exhibiton by tranzit.cz
Starting in the 1960s, the Slovak artist Július Koller (1939-2007) collected cuttings from Czechoslovak and foreign newspapers and magazines, books and periodicals, as well as his own observations and artworks. He was interested in archeology, the latest in science and technology, UFOs, the search for Atlantis, the Bermuda Triangle, art from the around the world, astronautics, tourist attractions, comics, and dozens of other topics. Over the decades an extensive archive was created, which can be seen as a source of inspiration, factual material for his artistic activities, or as a work of art in its own right.
