High school students from Săcele municipality and the “Multimedia-Preparing for Life” project team invite us to participate in a photo-video exhibition, featuring the launch of the short film “Happiness? Easy!”/ “Fericire? Simplu!”. The event marks the closing of one year of project activities and promotes the abilities of young people from the local interethnic community.
Date: 28 November 2014, 5pm
Location: Day Center for Children and Youth Săcele (administered by FAST Foundation in partnership with Săcele City Hall), Romania.
The short film “Happiness? Easy!” was produced entirely by the students who participated in the “Multimedia-Preparing for Life” project, from filming until editing. The film’s theme encourages people to look for their happiness in small things and promotes the idea that material possessions are not the most important ones in order for one to be happy.
The exhibition presents promotional video materials and photographs depicting the young people’s lives.
Students participating in the “Multimedia-Preparing for Life” project in 2014 went through different training modules: Windows, Internet, Photo, Video, Blog, Film, and attended diverse courses for professional specialisation, family life education, English classes etc.

FAST Foundation is one of the member NGOs in the ERSTE Foundation Roma Partnership, an informal alliance of organisations dedicated to improving the life of Roma people in the communities across Central and South-Eastern Europe. The platform was born out of a common concern: to support social enterprise development initiatives at community levels, involving Roma and non-Roma collaboration. The Partnership focuses on opportunities for developing livelihoods to create jobs and generate incomes from community initiatives.
