flying art courses

flying art courses

The aim of the „flying art courses” is to fill a lack in the contemporary art education in Hungary. An independent art department (független képzőművészeti tanszék / f***k)
is present with free contemporary art courses in different educational fields of several Hungarian universities and colleges. The flying art course moves into an institution where lectures and workshops are taking place and students have the possibility to interact and collaborate with visiting artists and other art professionals. Almost 1000 students participated in the courses in the last year in 18 different departments of 15 institutions.

The upcoming courses will take place in the frame of the OFF-Biennale Budapest at Media and Communication Department of Eötvös Lóránd University and also invites students from other communication departments in Budapest. The last course of this spring semester will take place in the Visual Culture Institute, College of Nyíregyháza.
