ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration 2011: Open call for submissions!

100 projects will be shortlisted
30 winners will be selected
ERSTE Foundation calls on non-profit organisations, public administrations, civil-society and private initiatives, religious communities and media representatives to apply for the ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration 2011.
30 innovative and efficient social integration projects will be awarded a total value of 610,000 euros in cash prizes at the award ceremony in June 2011. Additionally, all 100 shortlisted projects will receive media promotion offered by professional PR consultants to gain awareness and recognition in the region.
Applicants must be based in one of the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Deadline for application is 30 November 2010.

To show that every single one of us can make a change for the better with strong determination and passion, two members of the ERSTE Foundation Award team will go on a bike tour through six Eastern European countries. They will talk to NGOs and media representatives about the ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration and encourage them to apply.
The bikers will leave Vienna on 8 October and stop in Bratislava, Pecs, Osijek, Vukovar, Brcko, Belgrade, Pancevo, Timisoara, Szeged and Budapest. Check out their blog at www.integrationaward.org!
