aces: Central and Southeast European School Competition

aces – the Academy of Central European Schools – encourages pupils from different countries to work together on issues such as the environment or the clash of values and differing world visions.
In February 2009 aces launched a new round of competitions under the main theme "active citizenship and participation". The motto of the 2009 competition is “Have your say! Young Europeans shape their future”. School classes from all over central and Southeast Europe were invited to develop and implement project ideas in cooperation with partner schools in the region.
The deadline was 30 April, currently the projects are being reviewed by an international selection committee. The best projects will be awarded at the beginning of June.
Partner countries:
Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia
